Build 532 is out. It contains a fix for what is almost certainly the bug that has been causing nodes to totally overload the systems they were running on. However, hawk is down, so the snapshots haven't yet been rebuilt. This is probably due to hawk running the buggy code :)
Upgrade if you can from CVS, otherwise wait for the snapshot.
