That's a misreading of SSL behavior.  Browsers warn if a SSL page links a _NON 
SSL_
image.  If the image is hosted on a different _ALSO SSL_ server, it works fine.

At least, I've only gotten warnings on non-secure content, not 
differently-hosted
secure content.  Netscape 4.x, Mozilla and IE.

SSL is still a good idea, but it's not a fix-all.
