Hmm... fails in wget 1.7, but seems to work to a certain extent in wget 1.8.2. Of course, it doesn't help if you're trying to recurse through a site that has absolute links into itself (e.g. <a href="/SSK at blahblah/4//activelink.png">, or to other freesites. And it produces *slightly* weird results when it hits web links (/__CHECKED_HTTP__www.foobar.com). But it's a very clever and useful trick.
