I will comment on it here:

* You CAN safely email to the list. All you have to do is use a
mixmaster chain. Admittedly they're looking a bit shaky recently - two
at least have probably been compromized.
* There are a number of ways of implementing searching. The main ones
are to establish a channel to a central server and ask it, or for a
central server to post an index which you can then selectively
download and search within. Either way there can be very many
providers. Providing a *fully* decentralized search function which is
resistant to all likely attacks while still maintaining reasonable
  anonymity would be very difficult.
* The main required feature for 0.7 is not searching. It is good
performance, out of the box, IMHO.
* "Collections" is pretty meaningless. We already download very many
blocks in parallel when fetching a splitfile. We already download many
files from the same site in parallel, although we do not prefetch.
* There are ways to do updatable sites (TUKs). Most things are possible
with working routing. However this may not go into 0.7.0.
* TFE etc *are* prefetched on startup already. Links from them are not
prefetched at present unless the browser does it (which is dangerous
as it will go over __CHECKED links).
* Channels are being implemented, however I don't see clearly how they
connect to prefetching indexes... any explanation?
* Nodes MUST NOT be able to tell between freesite blocks and filesharing
blocks. However IMHO freesite blocks will be sufficiently popular that
this will not be a big problem, given working routing. We have argued
about priorities before; I am strongly opposed to them.
* Real time chat and IM will not use stored blocks, it will be using an
alternative layer in parallel to fetch/retrieve. I have recently been
  working on this.
