>Download wrapper.log.1.zip. For some reason, I can't download that file (IE gives a site is unavailable or cannot be found error - I can download other attachements off that site). >As you can see, (with the exception of the last restart, which was due >to an update failure), FuriousRage is getting the EvilJVMBug. In each >case, many threads are waiting for the lock on the logger hook, but none >holds it. Strangely, this is always at 0x17e800c0, on every startup. >He describes his setup as: >AMD64 Athlon 4000+, SATAII hdd, nVidia GeForce 7600GT, Win Xp Home >Edition SP2, Win Firewall, Avast Antivirus >Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_07-b03) >Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_07-b03, mixed mode, sharing) >In other words, the EvilJVMBug occurs not only on Linux but ALSO ON >WINDOWS. At least on 64-bit windows. Is this related to the PacketSender freezes? I've had a number of those on my XP machine, and the earlier ones say they are waiting to lock FileLoggerHook. The last two don't, which might be because I changed the logging level from MINOR to NORMAL. I've also experienced the loss of settings mentioned by FuriousRage at least once. Occurences of the freeze are really sporadic - sometimes it happens multiple times a day and then sometimes it goes a week without occuring. It's a minor issue on my machine anyway. Maybe happens once every 1.5 days on average. This is with WinXP Pro SP2 on a P3-1Ghz w/ JRE 1.5.0_06. If FuriousRage is running Win XP Home, he's also running 32-bit windows, albeit on a 64-bit capable processor.
