I'm simulating what happens when a node only tries to minimise its distance to its neighbours when deciding whether to swap, rather than minimising the product of its own and the swap partner's distance.
There was a bug in my first attempt so please ignore those results. The second attempt shows that swapping this way is significantly less effective. Cheers, Michael
