There is a known bug that the stats page report 0 keys in the data store. The key are written in the store correctly, but the stats are not updated. Deleting the datastore/*.bloom files and restart the node (ie. force rebuild the bloom filter and stats) sometimes help. Actual cause is unknown to me.
