You just need to replace images.tar.gz, for example on Windows that's
located in C:\Program Files\KiCad\<version>\share\kicad\resources
The first time I tried to use the icons from v5 nothing changed in v6. I
suspected it was due to the icons being compiled in to the program. I'll
give it another try some day. Thanks.
