I have been plannig to do it myself but I've had no time yet to learn how to do it. In the preprocessor we have the @sanskrit, @hindi and @modernhindi modes that switch on and off some conjuncts. XeTeX supports language features if they are present in the font. I hope it might be possible to switch conjuncts on anf off by means of these features.
