See, that's interesting. Because on Jeremy's machine (running python 2.7.15) we got the same error, but ran it again in docker (python 2.7.5) and it went fine. I chalked it up to compatibility issue, since 2.7.5 is the only python2 version still receiving updates afaik. I wonder if somehow your python version got messed up?
