Hi, That looks like a good plugin. Didn't have a long look at the sources yet, but it will sure be appreciated by the community.
Even if we encourage people to use the XWiki data model, I see the need for connecting to external databases, when XWiki is not the only one using that data, or when performance is critical and hibernate slows things down too much. You didn't mention the license on the page, and it is not present in the source files, either. I saw it is under GPL v3 in a package-info file. It is a generally accepted rule that the license should be clearly visible on the main project page. Thanks for sharing the plugin with the community. rssh wrote: > Good day community. > > Bridge between xwiki and legacy relational databases can be interesting for > some applications. > > I just wrote plugin for this: http://xwikisql.gradsoft.ua > > (Hope, this plugin can be integrated into general xwiki infrastructure) > > Regards! > > -- > Ruslan Shevchenko > GradSoft. http://www.gradsoft.ua > -- Sergiu Dumitriu http://purl.org/net/sergiu/ _______________________________________________ devs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.xwiki.org/mailman/listinfo/devs
