I'd be +1 for [[label|reference]] :
[pro] it's a common syntax
[pro] | is imho less likely to be used than > in a wiki page name.
[con] | may be harder to type on some keyboards.

[pro] good to have a single way of defining parameters.
[con] seems like a complex syntax but it's ok since it's not supposed
to be used frequently.
