Savitha, I really like this demo page. I would feel it more important to put a link to the actual search page instead of the screenshot. Make it velocity-parametrized by the search server. Also, I would prefer to get a description of the noteworthy things to observe in the search results. That confused me: > Normal search which returns three results. normally there should be three? Now that I can touch it, I'd like a few things: - could you add a simple facet in the form of "texts". I think the max facet is properly handled so that the user is suggested "extra texts". Note that a click there should expand the query text - the language facet is not triggering a different view (but the URL carries the added parameter), that sounds incorrect, it should be made visible, either as part of the text (lang:fr ?) or as a form element - I've been trying to use a syntax such as creator:polx but that failed... can you add a few example of such queries? - searching for a particular object value would also be useful (both of these things would result of an admin interface I suppose but you could formulate them now also) paul _______________________________________________ devs mailing list [email protected] http://lists.xwiki.org/mailman/listinfo/devs
