Fabio, I do this routinely with remote connect. Self-installed Tomcat. Invoked using the debug command. Deployed webapp folder (which uses symbolic links).
Generally this means that the compilation in IDEA is kind of useless but is a good thing before expecting hot swap. How is this different?
