Hi, We've managed to reproduce the issue. Apparently 1.8 and 1.9 have a bad issue that breaks the editing quite fast. You can try 1.7 which is more stable (still has some known issues on complex simultaneous changes though).
To install and older version go to "List stable versions" under "Description" in the extension manager entry.
