Here is another use case: At build-time "desktop2menu" may be even more useful than "licensecheck". Indeed B-D on "devscripts" and "libfile-desktopentry-perl" (needed by desktop2menu) is a bit overkill but still helpful to translate upstream .desktop file(s) to .menu during package build.
