Wow--we got one whole vote so ... I like both John and Alex's design, but if push comes to shove I'd choose Alex's with one caveat. Alex is there a way you can make your design "flexible" so it expands to the width of the user's monitor? I just think we're going to need more screen real estate for what we're going to do.
It would be GREAT if we could combine John and Alex's design so if you two want to work together that would be great; otherwise I guess Alex's design wins based on the two votes we got. John, I know we'll need your help with skinning, etc. if you're up for it so it would be nice to maybe have Alex's design as the default skin and yours as another one we'll ship with the app. Sound good people? If so let's start hammering out a page-by-page feature list so we can build out the UI in its entirety and start writing some code! Thanks to John and Alex both for their great design work!
