I was unaware of this and I had just 5 minutes before the presentation!
Luckily I had been working harder on "being offline" and it actually worked
in this case.  I turned off wifi on the laptop and ran for 1 hour with most
of the bit.ly/istio-tutorial demos completely disconnected.

I will try to send out my "script" for going offline (plus you have to do
any maven builds to cache those downloads as well).
