Dear Dhamma bros&sis,
 
I am fortunate to have an opportunity to share the Dhamma with all of you.
Meditation is the best way to eradiate our mental defilements.
Most of the time, we are pampering our body such as wearing good clothes, driving the most expensive cars, eating "fantastic food, etc.
we forget to train the mind, which is far more important.
its time for us to rethink again ..to give chance to know more about ourselves....rather than analising others.
 
I myself benefit from meditation.
It teach me to become a humble, tolerant, compassionate person.
I understand more the purpose of life, the happiness.....which lies inside our mind....
 
I happened to learn meditation just 4 months ago.....late jan 06 exactly.....
i signed up a meditaion class.....but failed to practise .....
then in early March i joined an 8 day meditation retreat in Bangkok....guided by Luang Poh Jaran , well respected Monks in Thailand.
Meditation retreat changed my life.....it was a wake up call for me......
So far i had been busy working....pampering my body...but i didnt happy at all....though i earned good pay......
I slowly realised that through meditation, i learned how to control my mind, my speech, my body action.....
Meditation is not difficult...nor dangerous......if we did it mindfully
in fact, it is more dangerous not to meditate
lets start to meditate.......go and join meditation class....
yes, we need good teacher to guide us.....so we can improve.....
we need to eradicate mental defilements such as anger,hatred,jealousy,ignorant...
do it daily....make meditation as a healthy life style....
we can start with 10 min daily, slowly increase it .......
 
I understand that in Indonesia there arre many meditation centres.....so do not waste your time......as life is impermanent....anicca......
since we have the opportunity, pls appreciate life more by leading a meaningful life...
