Hello, I've been having some fairly severe problems getting this client
running
under Openstep 4.2 on black hardware (I tried NS3.1 and had similar
probs).

When starting up the client, I get the following:

Listening on BPF/ep0/<null>
Sending on BPF/ep0/<null>
Sending on Socket/fallback/fallback-net

This looks to me as if maybe the bpf layer is having problems. Is there
some way
I can determine if bpf is running correctly, and does anyone have an
idea why my
ethernet address cannot be found ?

I've been frustrated with this for a while now, and have finally
resorted to asking
for help 8-) Getting DHCP going on a Mac was trivial (just toggle a
button) and
even getting it going under MKLinux was fairly straightforward. NeXT
got everything
else right, and I'm not sure why this is so bloody difficult 8-P

I'm trying to connect to an @home cable modem service if that's of use.

Thanks for any help,

    Thomas Orth
