Hi,
I am using dhclient V2.0b1pl27 on my FreeBSD 2.2.5, which is a gateway for
my home LAN through GTE ADSL. It seems to work, except, except it quits
with an error:
Listening on BPF/ep0/00:20:af:d5:ec:c3
Sending on BPF/ep0/00:20:af:d5:ec:c3
Sending on Socket/fallback/fallback-net
DHCPREQUEST on ep0 to 255.255.255.255 port 67
DHCPACK from 4.3.128.1
bound to 4.3.143.29 -- renewal in 1073741823 seconds.
select: Invalid argument
exiting.
I must stress that dhclient does setup the network interface correctly.
That's why I am not including output of netstat and ifconfig. The problem
is, since it's not sleeping in the background, it will not process new DHCP
leases in the future.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
