Hi Riddy, nope, a data element can only have one category combination. In your case you can create two different data elements. The main problem with allowing for different break-downs for the same data element is that data will be ambiguous - say if you capture it some places by age and some places by gender, then the total of male + female will not be the same as the grand total (even though all people contributing to the number has a gender).
