I just started using Dia for some wiring diagrams. I have been very
satisfied with the software. I am having trouble printing landscape.
Printing since Dia 0.97 is using mostly GtkPrint code which for me can
_print_ to protrait or landscape on Windows without problems.
I read the FAQ and set both the Printer Setup and the printer preferences to
landscape, but all I get is a portrait view with the drawing stretched down.
The FAQ seems to refer to some old workaround, did you try without?
What am I doing wrong? I only down loaded Dia 0.97.1. Is there any
companion software I am missing? How can I print a pdf?
If you actually dont _print_ but try to _export_ to PDF via GtkPrint there
is a known issue with landscape cause by a bug in GtkPrint, see:
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=599401
If you are atually interested in a PDF with landscape a working way on
Windows would be http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/
