Dear all,

I've read and tried [multiple times and multiple ways] the "How to add a
new shape to Dia" (http://dia-installer.de/howto/create_shape/index.html.en)
and I have partially succeeded.

The issue is that I'm trying to convert a middleware stencil from Visio. I
had the images extracted from the stencil (using the vsdump utility).

And now I'm stuck in the "create the *.shape" phase.

I have followied the howto, I was able to create the shape. However, when
testing the shape, I notice that there are only 4 connection points.
Being more verbose on this:
1. create a brand new .dia file;
2. put an image (using the Image button from the toolbox). At this moment,
any arrow can "connect" to the newly created image object, from whatever
direction. And if you drag the arrow's end into the center of the "image",
the image get's highlighted (see SNAG-0689-FIG1.jpg, the orange bakground),
and the arrow will connect to it.
3. export as *.shape
4. add the newly created *.shape into a new group
5. select the new group, and add the new shape into a brand-new canvas. The
produced object does only have 4 connection points. And an arrow does
connect _only_ if you move the arrow's end to the connection points (top,
bottom, right and left). Moving the arrow's end to the center of the image
does nothing. (see SNAG-0690-FIG2.jpg)

Is there way to make the produced shape behave like the image object?
