This seems strange. There was some problems with libxml doing this a
long time ago, but that got fixed. What gnome-xml version ar you using?
Would you mind trying to chase down where this problem comes from? If
it's a bug in gnome-xml it better get fixed before 1.0 ships. I
personally don't have much time for anything before at least Wednesday
next week.
