Always on the lookout for other related projects to Dia I was intrigued
to see that Ralf Engels has begun development of a Gimp derivative to
include support for vector drawing in the core. This is would seem to
me to be a hideous excercise in grafting a completely new paradigm to a
large and complex codebase. I think this might be a premature effort
and perhaps Ralf would have been better to help modularizing Gimp first
to accomodate such a radical addition more easily.
