1. Where are the latests versions of Dia?? I (unfortunately) have not yet grasped the whole "compile it yourself" concept, but am pretty familiar with binary .tar and .rpm formats. Do you think we could coordinate regular production of these packages (as well as .deb files, too)? I have the 0.41 RPM for i386/redhat, but I understand that it's up to like .6x...I'd like to upgrade to the latest so I can see the features and functionalities, which then leads me to....
2. Documentation! Where is the docs? There isn't much info on the website, and screenshots and examples could be useful. I'd be willing to put a lot of effort into getting a manual together and PR stuff, too - all I'll need is the go ahead from you guys if there's an interest. And finally...
3. A report. Recently, GIMP got an interface/fuctionality report from an independant user pointing out bugs, bad UI design, etc. But, it just wasn't to complain - it was very constructive, actually. I'd like to do the same, but add a twist...I'd like to do a side-by-side comparison with a product I used for EVERYTHING when I was in Windows. Maybe you are familiar with INSPIRATION (www.inspiration.com), which was a VERY intuitive diagramming program that had features I don't even think Visio had. IF anyone is interested, I'd be willing to highlight it's features and suggest how they could be integrated in Dia (from a user's perspective :-).
But, if you don't want me to, I won't...no use in writing it if you guys don't even want to read it.
