Standard Object missing in NetBSD ??

I have been attempting to compile Dia under NetBSD.  The source
appears to compile without any errors however, when attempting to run
Dia I get the following error.

"Couldn't find standard object when looking for object lib..."

Where are these standard objects located and are they directly related
to Dia or do they belong to a different application that I need to
install??

Any help would be appreciated.
