Dia-list is a real mailing list. There are instructions for joining on
the dia web site (click on the developers link on the left).
As far as a dia wishlist, you can submit wishlist severity bugs to
bugs.gnome.org.
There hasn't been a new release for a little while because I was on
holiday for a while, and some of the new features we are implementing are
taking a while to finish. If you have access to CVS, you can see what has
changed by typing:
cvs -z3 diff -u -r DIA_0_83 .
In the dia checkout directory (this may take a while). Alternatively,
read the changelog.
There isn't much docs of dia's internals (other than the source/headers).
However, Alex did a great job designing dia to be modular. This means you
can just pick some aspect of dia and learn about it (by reading headers,
or looking at code that uses the interface), without having to worry about
the rest of the code base. You may also want to look at:
http://cvs.gnome.org/lxr/source/dia/
That will give you a cross referenced version of the source, which may be
helpful if you want to learn about dia's internals.
