I did a vacuum tube triode, and pentode playing around but they were
stylistically ugly. Much of my circuit twiddling has been tube oriented, so I
actually use these, and transformer symbols quite a bit. This was my first
exposure to the european convention - I find it much clearer than trying to
draw decent looking zig zags - whether on the computer or especially hand
drawn. Is there a a european convention for tubes and transformers too?
