There are quite serious issues in v0.83 in the file save and some object
initialisation code, which every now and then bites new people. Maybe a
v0.84 soon would be a nice idea, perhaps disabling the unfinished bits
code whose interfaces are likely to change (or at least, put a proeminent
temporary warning in the header files).
