Wouldn't it be nice if Dia used this widget? http://reinolinux.fe.up.pt/~ee96090/myruler.html We could substitute a pair of ruler/scrollbar with a single scrolling ruler. I offer to make any improvements in these widgets necessary to suit Dia's needs. Of course, anyone else can improve it -- it's LGPL. There is now an example in the tarball.
