Hi,
with the recent version from CVS I am trying to run autogen.sh:
[asmodai@daemon] (5) $ ./autogen.sh
I am going to run ./configure with no arguments - if you wish
to pass any to it, please specify them on the ./autogen.sh command line.
Running gettextize... Ignore non-fatal messages.
sed: aclocal.m4: No such file or directory
You should update your own `aclocal.m4' by adding the necessary
macro packages gettext.m4, lcmessage.m4 and progtest.m4 from
the directory `/aclocal'
Running libtoolize
You should add the contents of `/usr/local/share/aclocal/libtool.m4' to
`aclocal.m4'.
aclocal: configure.in: 27: macro `AM_PATH_GTK' not found in library
aclocal: configure.in: 172: macro `AM_PATH_GDK_IMLIB' not found in
library
automake: configure.in: installing `./install-sh'
automake: configure.in: installing `./mkinstalldirs'
automake: configure.in: installing `./missing'
automake: Makefile.am: installing `./COPYING'
app/Makefile.am: dia_OBJECTS should not be defined
app/Makefile.am:152: warning: automake does not support conditional
definition of bonobo_files in EXTRA_DIST
creating cache ./config.cache
./configure: 530: Syntax error: word unexpected (expecting ")")
Now type 'make' to compile dia.
Any ideas? I know that for the AM_PATH_GTK/GDK_IMLIB I need to tweak
the paths where my .m4 files are located (under
/usr/X11R6/share/aclocal). However I am curious about
the rest of those warnings, like the update aclocal.m4 one.
Got autoconf 2.13 installed, automake 1.4, ideas welcome =)
