On Monday, May 23 the Tutor/Mentor Connection and IUPUI will co-host a day long Tutor/Mentor eConference.
This not only will give tutor/mentor leaders and supporters from Chicago, Indianapolis and the rest of the world another chance to connect and network, but will demonstrate a new collaboration and e-learning portal that will make it easier, and less expensive, for groups of people to meet, learn and collaborate via the Internet. The eConference will begin at 9am EST and end at 6PM EST. You can register to participate (FREE) at http://econference.uc.iupui.edu/ . You must have a PC to participate. The pilot application does not support Macintosh (sorry). I encourage you to try to participate, for at least one workshop, just to learn about how this type of technology can support our future efforts to work as a group to solve problems none of us can solve by working alone.
