William, Once you have the CTC's up and running, I'm hoping that people will be interested in joining the HPN mailing list, which began in 1997 in order to give people who have been through hard times both a chance to network AND a place to suggest solutions to social problems for policy makers to read.
HPN stands for Homeless People's Network. To join, email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a brief note about why you want to join and a promise to post under only one name. If you want to tell your story on the list, please do, and if you want to offer some solutions to policy makers, that's even better. To read more about the list, and to look at the archives, see http://aspin.asu.edu/hpn/ (The email address on the page is not the one to subscribe through -- use [EMAIL PROTECTED] instead -- this will be corrected.) The archives for the earlier years are much busier and I think it is way past time to get some more solutions in the air. thanks Sandra Sutton Andrews [EMAIL PROTECTED] Digital Media and Instructional Technologies Arizona State University On 9/1/05, Will Reed <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Technology For All(TFA) is working with its community and corporate > partners to set up a Community Technology Center (CTC) at Houston's > Astrodome, which will soon be home for 25,000 evacuees from the New > Orleans Superdome. > _______________________________________________ DIGITALDIVIDE mailing list DIGITALDIVIDE@mailman.edc.org http://mailman.edc.org/mailman/listinfo/digitaldivide To unsubscribe, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the body of the message.
