ProBono Net, the host for the LawHelp.org Web sites, has developed a page with disaster legal resources for Katrina victims. (More information is below.)
For those of you who are unfamiliar with LawHelp.org Web sites: LawHelp.org Web sites provide legal information for low- to moderate-income populations. Subjects vary by state, but typically include family law, consumer issues, landlord-tenant issues, and so on. A complete list of states with legal information Web sites is available at http://www.lawhelp.org.
