Can web conferencing software be considered as a browser? Marratech is
a videoconferencing software where you can turn off the video and which
allows application sharing. I haven't used it yet but I translated a
tutorial for it, and from this tutorial, it seems that you can share
marratech-specific and non-marratech-specific, even proprietary
programs, and that new versions of marratech are extending the range of
sharable programs. The sharing of proprietary programs baffled me a bit,
for licensing reasons, but the translation was urgent and there were
several really unclear things so I didn't ask about this. If someone is
interested, I could, though - or I could put you in touch individually
with the authors of the tutorial.

cheers

Claude
