Hi everyone,

I'm passing this along for Mark Surman of Telecentres.org. Hope all
of
you are having an easier time getting to Tunis; my plane had to turn

around to Boston because of smoke in the cabin and I probably won't
get
there until late Sunday night.... :-( ac

Hi all

With just a few days until WSIS and the Telecentre Leaders Forum workshop, we wanted to write to you with a quick update.

As you know, the idea behind the workshop is to connect telecentre practitioners and networks so that they share stories, learn what
others
are working on and imagine collaborative projects together. An
updated
description of the event is online at: http://wsis.telecentre.org/telecentre-org-at-wsis/telecentre-leaders
-forum-agenda

Of course, we're not just running a workshop - we're also holding blogging training sessions, social events, presentations in the IDRC

sandbox and social events. You can find out about all these
activities
at http://wsis.telecentre.org/event

We particularly want to highlight our 'telecentre moveable feast'
social
events - on Tuesday night at the Dar el-jeld restaurant (open to
all!)
and on Thursday at Restaurant Latina (joint dinner with
TakingITGlobal,
open to all but please RSVP to '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' as space is very
limited).

Also very cool will be the online storytelling and blogging coaching

that Kate Raynes-Goldie (our web site editor) and Claire Bure. These

sessions are from 9 to 10am in the IDRC booth every day of the
Summit
(from the 15 to the 19th). Please join us.

While in Tunis, some telecentre.org TLF organizers will have local Tunisian mobile phone numbers, so feel free to contact us if you
need to:

Claire Buré.................(216) 20 240 342
Meddie Mayanja..........(216) 20 240 343
Mark Surman..............(216) 20 555 586
Sarah Fiset.................(216) 20 555 592

Best wishes and see you soon ...

The telecentre.org team!

PS. Please feel free to forward to others you think would be
interested.
