hi everyone -

a few days ago i sent out an email about gathering sample openoffice draw
graphics that youth and adults could try to create themselves.

here's a lovely response i received from solveig haugland, the author of
several openoffice books. she is also an openoffice trainer.

grateful thanks to the other people who also responded to my request.

        - phil

Hi Phil,

Once your students get advanced, it could be fun to challenge them to do
this one. Or at least show them the power of Draw with this.

I used conversion to 3D, the set in circle/distort tools, and of course
the 3D tools.

Also I've got some Draw blogs this week in case the students find them
useful.
