Those with a long memory may recall that Bob Dylan once wrote "The New York
Times said it was the coldest winter in 17 years, I didn't feel so cold
then"

Those with an even longer memory will recall that their Pullitzer
prizewinning journalist Walter Duranty, once described by fellow journalist
Malcolm Muggeridge as "The greatest liar I have ever know", is the
subject of an ongoing campaign to revoke this prize for his deliberate
concealment of Stalin's man-made famine which took upward of 7 million
lives.

Given their reputation, I'm only suprised that readers still expect any
kind of truth out of such a newspaper.
