As of July 28, 2006, I will be leaving the IT Resource Center (www.itresourcecenter.org) in Chicago to assume the position of Executive Director of Leadership, Education, and Athletics in Partnership, Inc. (LEAP, Inc), a youth leadership development organization located in New Haven, CT (www.leapforkids.org).
Since we began piloting the Community Technology Center (CTC) Accelerator Program in 2002 with our initial ten partners, the ITRC has successfully worked with the private and public sector to expand program offerings and help more than 100 nonprofits to establish and maintain community technology centers and programs for low-income communities. The IT Resource Center is actively seeking a new CTC Accelerator Project Director to continue to bring important resources to all partner CTCs, including: planning and technical assistance, offering professional development opportunities, working with CTCs to improve curriculum and client tracking tools, maintaining the peer network that is so essential to this initiative, and aggressively pursuing new and renewed sources of cash and in-kind contributions for the Accelerator. If you know anyone who might be interested in applying for this position, please direct him or her to the position opening posted at: www.npo.net/jobservice/jobs/index.asp Mercedes Soto _______________________________________________ DIGITALDIVIDE mailing list DIGITALDIVIDE@mailman.edc.org http://mailman.edc.org/mailman/listinfo/digitaldivide To unsubscribe, send a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word UNSUBSCRIBE in the body of the message.
