Conference: Bridging the Digital Divide: Culture, Race &
Gender in the Workplace, July 21-22, 2004, Sheraton New York Hotel &
Towers, New York City

Working Mother Media's Best Companies for Women of Color
Multicultural Conference

Bridging the Digital Divide: Culture, Race & Gender in the Workplace
will address the difficult but critical contemporary issue of the
growing divide between racial and ethnic groups. We will share
strategies for meaningful cross-group connecting. We will learn
personal success tools for furthering individual careers, as well as
corporate best practices for advancing women of color. And we will
focus on ways to leverage what we learn at the conference in our own
workplaces-and in the larger community-so participants can continue
to work together to build cross-race and cross-culture consensus.

Day One will focus on Learning to Work Together: Concepts and Skill
Building, and Day Two will focus on Building Alliances and Taking
Action.

Keynote Speakers include Cari M. Dominguez, Chair, U.S. EEOC; Claire
S. Chow, author of Leaving Deep Water: Asian American Women at the
Crossroads of Two Cultures; and Ancella Livers, author of Leading in
Black and White: Working across the Racial Divide in Corporate
America.
