Even if I add a try-catch block all I see is a message "Segmentation fault" on the terminal. std.file.write(file_name, the_text); } catch (Exception e){ writeln(e); } As an added frustration the redirection is corrupted in bash (and tcsh) and so it is difficult to run dustmite. I ended up reducing the failing case by hand. --
