We recently switched to a time attendance management system at our office, and honestly, it’s been a bit of a learning curve. Before this, everything was handled manually or through basic spreadsheets, which worked but also caused small errors here and there. The new setup, I think it was Vertex HCM, tracks check in and check out pretty accurately. It also helps with late entries and shift timings, which used to be a headache for HR. At the same time, not everyone adapted quickly. Some employees kept forgetting to log properly in the first few weeks, so there was still some manual fixing involved. One thing I noticed is that these systems are only as good as how people use them. If the team isn’t consistent, even a good platform can feel frustrating. Still, it does save time overall, especially when payroll is linked with attendance. Just wondering, how long does it usually take for teams to fully adjust to something like this?
