The latest dmd2 which is 2.030 which can be downloaded from the changelog page
doesn't exist in the downloads page but insted 2.029. same for dmd1 the latest
is 2.045 and can be downloaded from the changelog but not from the downloads
page. most people will downloaded from the downloads page, so they don't get
the latest versions.
