Technically, all it's ever referred to is as "fruit" or the "forbidden fruit" - and it's the fruit of one very specific tree which only existed in the Garden of Eden. So, arguably associating it with any fruit currently in existence is a bit of a misnomer. So, it shouldn't have any effect on your fruit dietary choices. ;) - Jonathan M Davis
