TDPL is entering a review stage where a collection of coders from all
walks of programming life will have one month to submit feedback that
will shape the final version of the book.
The book has been blessed with feedback from people who already know D
or are otherwise versed enough with languages. It would be great to
complement that with a few programmers who are intermediate or
experienced, use some other language, and want to learn D. Their input
would be very valuable because the current set of reviewers and myself
find it difficult to look at the content with a virginal eye.
If you have friends who fit that profile, please forward this to them
and ask if they'd want to be part of TDPL. There may be a meager stipend
involved, probably worth a good dinner for two at a decent restaurant.
(But clearly being in this for the money would be frustrating.)
Thank you very much,
Andrei
