Is anybody else here experiencing problems with Thunderbird 3 RC? On
my laptop many post that are clearly replies to an existing thread
appear as new top-level posts.
I'm getting that as well. Started when I upgraded to 3.0.

Same issue here, I don't know if it's because the posters are using
Thunderbird 3 or because it's not laying out threads properly, or even
if the server's at fault and Thunderbird 2 relied on buggy behaviour...
I guess we'll see if this post becomes top level (Posted using TB3).
Probably the previous versions of Thunderbird somehow inferred the
correct thread even when the post was sent with a broken client. Some
posts seem to erroneously become top level no matter what client I use.
This whole mess started when the web interface was introduced.
I did a bit of googling and found this page,

I'm about to try it, fingers crossed ^^
