Appropriate and informative error messages are properly
quality-of-implementation issues. As the dmd source shows, doing this
message is trivial.


DMD recognizes the octal literal then rejects it later. Ideally the lexer should not accept 0\d{2,} at all.

Anyway the above aren't really big problems. I don't expect newbies know octal literals :).
