To be pragmatic, one thing I think would help is if all such projects were
hosted somewhere public, like GitHub, and distributed under very open licenses
(Boost comes to mind). People lose interest, time, etc, and it's a shame when
a valuable project is either lost entirely or remains available but licensed in
a way that prevents anyone else from picking up the baton.
This is what I initially thought std.experimental was meant to be.
